Monthly Scout Nights
NSSBARC inc has a long history hosting and training Scouts in the sport of target shooting.
We currently offer a scouts program on the 3rd Wednesday of the month by appointment between Feburary and November each year. We can accommodate groups between 6-12 scouts/venturers/rovers each Scout Night.
During the evening each scout will learn the basics of rifle safety and get supervised hands on experience in shooting .22 rifles.

- A minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 scouts can attend.
- The maximum per night is 12. This is because each shooter using a P650 form must have one to one supervision by a licensed member of the Club.
- $40.00 per Scout/Venturer/Rover for two shoots (30 shots)
- The package includes; electronic target, rifle hire, range hire, ammunition, firearms safety talk, ear plugs etc.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Scouts must be aged 12 years old to shoot on the night.
- Scouts must wear closed in shoes for shooting.
- It is advisable to wear long sleeve tops to protect elbows and long trousers.
- Mobile Phones are not allowed on the firing point.
- Long hair needs to be tied back.
- Parents or waiting participants, while you can't wait on the firing line there is a great view through our glass doors and you can follow the screens from inside on our TV.
